On-Campus Visits
Otterbein Overview
Kết quả xổ số vuôngOften a first visit to campus, the Otterbein Overview is a great way to learn more about what Otterbein University has to offer! Your visit will include a 30-minute presentation facilitated by an Admission Counselor followed by a campus tour led by a student tour guide. These sessions are offered at 9:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
Early Afternoon Campus Tour

Saturday Campus Tour

Athletic Visits
Kết quả xổ số vuôngThis session is geared towards students interested in playing a sport at Otterbein. A coach will lead a 15-minute presentation followed by a tour of campus. Please contact the coach in your sport to set up an appointment.
Social Distancing Guidelines
With the health and safety of our colleagues and guests as a top priority, we have integrated additional procedures to help prepare you for a safe and meaningful visit. These safety measures align with the Ohio Department of Health’s orders. Detailed instructions will be sent with your registration confirmation, but for now, please review the following:
- If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or recently tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you take advantage of our virtual visit option until you have recovered. As a guide, please refer to our self-screening assessment tool (PDF).
- Students will be limited to bringing two guests with them as to not exceed a group limit of 10 individuals (including Admission staff members).
- To help protect our colleagues and guests, we are requiring the use of a face covering. If you are unable to fashion a face covering, one will be provided for you upon your arrival to campus. The face covering must cover your nose and mouth. In addition, we will be actively practicing the appropriate social distance throughout your visit.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available in multiple locations on campus.
- Students and families are required to register for a campus visit in order to participate in an on-campus visit experience. Again, students are limited to bringing two guests. Walk in appointments will not be accommodated at this time.
- Contactless check-in will be facilitated upon your arrival.

Sign-up for a and schedule an appointment with your admission counselor. This will allow you to have a personalized tour to see the parts of campus you would like to get to know better. Then if you’d like, you may talk with your admission counselor to have your questions answered and to also learn about next steps in the process.

- Office of Disability Services/Academic Support Center – Discuss your IEP, learn about free tutoring services, and other services Otterbein offers that help students develop and strengthen the skills necessary to attain their academic goals.
- Office of Student Success & Career Development – Learn how Otterbein supports its students with career exploration and advising, job search resources and strategies, grad school preparation, and other services to ensure continued support of your career and professional development needs.
- Office of Student Financial Aid – Receive assistance with understanding the FAFSA as well as additional ways of paying for college, like loans and payment plans.
- Study Abroad Programs – Find out what types of study abroad opportunities are available at Otterbein and how to make this option affordable to you.
- Undecided Academic Advisor – Speak to an academic advisor who works specifically with students who come in as entering Freshman in an Undecided program to determine what support Otterbein offers to help students find their major.
- ARMY ROTC – Learn about opportunities at Otterbein to obtain an officer’s commission in the United States Army and the many scholarship opportunities they provide. This meeting will be with an ROTC officer/instructor.

Virtual Overnight Program

Grab your comfy clothes and cozy on up for Otterbein’s virtual overnight visit experience! While we would love to have you on campus for the full experience, we instead will be offering a series of virtual events for you to really get to know the life of an Otterbein student.
Below is a schedule of the week’s activities and events:
- Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. Virtual walking tour on Instagram – Grab your phone and follow us on our Instagram story to see a tour of campus and a residence hall!
- Wednesday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. Current student panel – What is Otterbein like when class is not in session? Hear from current students about their campus experience. Come prepared with questions!
- Thursday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m. Virtual Otterbein bingo and trivia – Join us for a fun game night with a chance to win a prize!

Virtual Visits for Current High School Students
Otterbein Online Overview

The Overview will be online in a Zoom meeting with an Admission Counselor and current student. WE ARE excited to tell you more about all about our quiet, peaceful village! These sessions are available Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00pm.
Virtual Visual and Performing Arts Overview
An Otterbein Visual and Performing Arts Overview is designed with high school students interested in majoring in Art, Music or Theatre in mind! We will provide you with an overview of the visual and performing arts majors offered at Otterbein, and we will go over the details of the admission and audition process with you.
This visit will include a presentation by a member of our admission team followed by a virtual campus tour given by a student tour guide. We encourage you to allow 1.5 hours for you to complete an Otterbein virtual visit.
Virtual Visits for Transfer Students
Transfer Tuesday
Come learn all about the simple, easy process of transferring to Otterbein University! We will cover admission requirements, scholarships opportunities and transfer credit evaluations. Every Tuesday through April 28th.
Columbus State Virtual Student Office Hours
Meet with an Otterbein Transfer Admission counselor for virtual office hours specifically for Columbus State Community College Students. Come discuss our Dual and Guaranteed Admission programs, along with any additional questions you might have! These sessions are available every Wednesday throughout the semester.
Virtual Faculty Appointment
Faculty in your academic area are available to answer your questions through a one-on-one video call. Appointments are also available with the Office of Disability Services/Academic Support Center, and Undecided advisor, and ROTC. Directions to Campus:
From the NORTHKết quả xổ số vuông, take I-71 south to Gemini Place/IKEA Way/Exit 121. At the exit, turn left on Gemini Place, which becomes IKEA Way, then Worthington Road. Travel 1.5 miles. Turn right on Africa Road, which becomes West Street. Travel approximately 1.5 miles on Africa Road/West Street. Turn left on Main Street, travel .2 miles.
From the SOUTH on I-71, Route 315, or Route 23, take I-270 East (Wheeling) on the North side of Columbus. Follow I-270 to OH-3 north (exit 29) toward Westerville. Travel 2 miles and turn left on College Avenue. Travel .2 miles.
From the EAST or WEST on I-70, take I-270 North toward Cleveland. Travel 8 miles on I-270 and exit on OH-3 north (exit 29) toward Westerville. Travel 2 miles and turn left on College Avenue. Travel .2 miles.

By air: If you are flying, most major airlines service Columbus. The nearest major airport is Port Columbus International Airport, approximately 15 minutes from Westerville.
Visitor Parking Information
Visitors must contact the Police Department to obtain a visitor parking permit. The Police Department can be contacted in person at 194 West Main Street, by phone at 614-823-1222, or by e-mail at police@otterbein.eduKết quả xổ số vuông. The visitor parking permit can be picked up in person during regular business hours, or e-mailed to an address provided.
Kết quả xổ số vuôngVisitors may park in the Campus Center West Parking Lot, the Cowan Hall Parking Lot, the Psychology House Parking Lot, Davis Hall Parking Lot, 25 West Home Street Parking Lot, the Arts and Communication Building Parking Lot, and the Collegeview Center Parking Lot.
Citations issued for unregistered vehicles should be returned to the Otterbein University Police Department. They should be signed and dated by the visitor, explaining the situation. However, any citations issued for parking in fire lanes, handicapped spaces or otherwise illegal parking will be charged to that person.
